Extreme Marine is one of the newest stores to open up in Toronto. They had a pretty good selection of both hard and soft corals when I went in there. I was expecting more soft corals than hard corals from just what I heard, but I was pleasantly surprised and even picked up 2 sps frags. In fact I originaly was planning on getting some pretty ricordia or zoos but didn't find what I was looking for.
Archie was a great guy and good to talk to. Very helpful and took the time to go through what the different frags were.
I would recommend that people making a day run of all the stores include Extreme Marine on their list. Its fairly central to Toronto which is important for me because of how far East I live compared to most stores, Archies great, and the selection wasn't too bad.
Note: I expect their selection to improve as their just starting out and I can understand the costs with opening up a shop. I plan to stop by every once in a while to see whats new.
I would say less selection than an Aquarium Depot for frags, but maybe a little better for softies, and lots of frags of zoos available. |
